Hi everybody! I’m back… on a short note with death note movie 2’s summary!!! Cool right? Because I watched the preview @ Golden Village already haha. With some colourbars :] Of course this post would be spoilers….. so please do not read on if you don’t want to be spoiled. And also, check out this website, it gives you quite some information which I assume should be true. And I happen to stumble onto a WordPress website which offers lots of download and stuff for Death Note. Go check it out when you’re free! This site has…. downloads! But I think its worth checking out because of the other stuff it has too. But for Death Note the Movie 2, I really think that everyone should go to the theaters and watch the movie!!! A more detailed information highlight, L will die, but he is not killed by Kira/Light, rather he wrote his own name into the Death Note himself. Light will die too, killed by Ryuk.

Short summary….for now, because I’m lazy… to type out everything that I’ve written on my foolscap onto here….. x.x I think I need a scanner.

Amane Misa finds the Death Note and sees Rem(Remu), “Amane Misa, your life has been prolonged….” Misa asks what happen and sends a tape to the broadcast station, Sakura Tv. Sakura Tv broadcasts the tape and shows evidence that she also can kill. There was a festival when A message from the second Kira, appears on the tv. I’m the Second Kira, whoever opposes to Kira will die, together let’s make this world a better place to live in. Misa also offers to help Kira, she has the eye and that Kira supporters should gather around. Everyone started to gather as Police officers who ran over to the festival area died of heart attacks including Kenzo Mogi, a police officer on the police force that’s trying to catch Kira. Sayu runs over and cries. She said Murderer onto the screen, why did you do that? what did they do to you?! The police officers who were at the headquarters wanted to rush onto the scene was stopped by L as he said that this Kira is deadlier, as he could kill with a face. **A van is then seen rushing into the scene and a guy wearing a helmet appears and asks Sayu if she is alright, that person was Light’s father, he smashes the camera and shoots the wires, stopping the broadcast as Misa prepares to leave. Light’s father gave Sayu a coat and ask her to enter the building and Light’s father went into the Sakura tv broadcast and demanded for them to stop the broadcast. Light arrives at the scene, and asked if Sayu’s alright and Misa sees Light, Kira.** Misa checks up on Light’s background… and went to Light’s house. Light meet Misa and Misa offers to help Light. Light agreed after pointing out a few things. Rem threatens Light that if Misa was hurt, she would kill him as Jealous has died so as to prolong Misa’s life. The next day, Light was in school when he saw L, L then wore a mask(Pig mask… ) Misa appears and Light is shocked. Misa opens L’s mask and sees L’s real name, but unfortunately, Misa later gets kidnapped, by L. Light calls Misa’s hand phone and was surprised to see it with L. L tells Light to refrain from coming to the headquarters and that Misa will be placed in confinement. Misa at first did not say anything, the police officers felt bad. On the 5th? day, Misa started to ask them t okill her. Rem made Misa give up the ownership of Death Note, causing Misa to lose mermories of the death note and demanded for Light to save her. Light then plan everything, he also placed himself in confinement and he told Rem to give the Death Note to someone else and that person is Takada Kiyomi, someone who has always been observing Kira’s action. Who then killed many people and then traded for the Shimigami eyes too, when they was about to reveal that she is the 3rd Kira. L and the police task force then finds out the truth. At the news broadcast, Kiyomi was tied up and then, L and the police task force saw the Shimigami, Rem(Remu). Light then writes Kiyomi’s name using his blood on a hidden Death Note paper which he kept in his watch. Kiyomi dies. And the Death Note is now with the police task force. Light wrote one new rule in the Death Note book, if a new name is not written within the 13 days, that person will die. Light’s father and the other members left to try the book leaving only L and Light behind. L then informs Light that Misa would be here soon. Light then forces Rem(Remu) to kill herself so as to prolong Misa’s lifespan and help her. But Rem burns the book so as to prevent Light from getting the book. L then dies as Misa arrives with the Death Note. L said that he was wrong, Light was Kira. Light then uses the book to write his father’s name so as to get the Death Note book. As Light walks out, his father walked towards Light, Light then said that his father would understand, and that he’ll forgive him. Light’s father then open the case but the book is not there. L then re-appears, with the other police task force members and Misa gets handcuffed. Light then question why, the book Misa holding is fake and said that Misa betrayed him. But it was actually L had asked Watari to swap the Death Note book. Watari’s death was the last mistake he made.. And that Light’s father did not believe it at first that Light was actually Kira till, L written his name on the Death Note book, his name(they did not say what…) would die 28days after this and it would be a peaceful heart attack. And that was what made Light’s father agreedable. Light’s father was disappointed, Light then tries to use his hidden death note paper that he kept but was shot at the leg and hand instead, he chases after it and fails…. he then shouts Ryuk, and Ryuk appears and Light begged Ryuk for help. Ryuk then agreeds to write a name, and Light laughed. Misa laughed too. Light then wanted to see the name and it was… Yagami Light. Light then told Ryuk that this is just the beginning, he can’t die yet, Ryuk told Light that it was enough. Misa was at there crying, and Light’s father went to Light when he suffered a heart attack. Light and Light’s father then chat, as Light dies. Ryuk then asks L if he’ll use the Death Note book but L replies that This is the dealiest weapon on Earth and that he’ll burn it, Kira’s death would also not be announced. Ryuk then flies away saying that it’s so boring. L was seen in the office playing chess with himself as Light’s father enters and talked to L, L told the ICPO but they didn’t believed him and asks Light’s father about his family. L then reveals that he has no parents but he believed that Light’s father was a good dad. And that he wants to be alone, since he is dying. Light’s father then left giving L a last salute as L dies of a heart attack peacefully and L’s eyes for the first time is shut.
1 year later, it was Light’s birthday, Sayu and Light’s mother was making a cake, they were saying Light was such a gentle boy, and that Sayu would always blow out the cake. Misa was in her room where there were many candles, she could not remember anything about death note. “Light…. happy birthday” “I got a feeling I forgot something really important..but who cares!” Misa said as she lied down on her bed. “It’s snowing! ” Sayu says as her mom asks her to bring a umbrella to her father. Sayu and Light’s father then talked about Light and that, now that Kira is gone, crime rate has gone up again and if Kira could come back would she want him to be back, Sayu says no, Kira killed Light, so she doesn’t want Kira to be back. Light’s father said that Light had fought to the very end with Kira. Sayu cries. As the screen zooms out, Ryuk is seen flying in the sky…. the end.

Death Note the Movie 2, was something I didn’t really expect, they(The director of Death Note Movie) said that the ending would be differently and I didn’t expect something like that, I would say that you would probably need to watch some episodes of the anime to really understand the story. I had knew the ending hence, that did blew everything for me. x.x They did not introduce Mello or Near, and they made Light look kinda stupid at the end because Light was the one who got tricked all along, but the part for L, was really touching, I guess, and also Light’s death that time….. Misa was really very faithful to Light. Rem was also another memorable part. But I like the pig mask, it was funny. But this show is a must watch! I love this movie a lot, except for certain parts. My rating? 8.5/10 And I’ll continue some Misa left out parts and Kiyomi ones too. And this should conclude the whole death note manga. And they didn’t mention L’s real name, but i know it, it’s….. Lawliet….. :p don’t tell anyone about this though, especially Light xD and, i just realised something….
